Trying Chicago’s Best at Chicago Cocktail Social
Chicago Cocktail Social
On April 28, Chicago’s funnest (and thirstiest) crowd gathered at the gorgeous Galleria Marchetti where mixologists from Chicago’s best bars were mixing up their most famous cocktails. We grabbed a menu and set off to sample as many special craft cocktails as we could! This event was perfect for those who are interested in tasting different drinks but don’t have time to make the trek to all the different bars. At Chicago Cocktail social, all the best bars come to YOU!
The bars in attendance were Analogue, Bar Deville, Barley & Brass, Barrelhouse Flat, Berkshire Room, Celeste, The Dawson, The Drifter, Lone Wolf, The Promontory, Sable, Scofflaw, Sepia, Sportsman’s Club, The Violet Hour, and more!
One of our favorite cocktails of the evening was this imaginative and refreshing watermelon mint drink from The Sixth. Perfect for summer! We thought that the watermelon whipped cream was a tasty and thoughtful touch.
The event was indoor/outdoor, and although the weather was quite chilly, we were grateful for the outdoor patio when the space inside got crowded.
Proceeds to benefit Un86’d. Un86’d is a charity created to aid in monetary relief for restaurant professionals in need, including educating workers on how to utilize public and private health care for their own benefit. You know we love to drink for a cause!
Thank you for having us, Chicago Cocktail Social! Cheers.
