James Beard Foundation Taste America

Now in its fifth year, James Beard Foundation Taste America is a ten-city tour, taking place September 22–November 11, 2017. The tour stops in Chicago Friday, October 27 and Saturday, October 28.

Each stop on our tour features a weekend of spectacular dining and culinary programming.

On Friday evening, a benefit dinner begins with a tasting reception that features an exciting lineup of the finest local chefs. Guests will then enjoy a unique four-course menu created by a visiting Taste America All-Star chef and a Local Star chef in each host city.

On Saturday, we hold events at Sur La Table that are free to the public and feature Taste America All-Star chef appearances, cooking demonstrations, book signings, and artisanal tastings. These exclusive dining events are perfect for the food enthusiast and offer ideal entertaining opportunities for executives, clients, media, and VIPs.
