RAISED, A COCKTAIL LOUNGE CONTINUES NEW SUPPER CLUB SERIES SATURDAY, JANUARY 13

Raised Bar Supper Club, a unique culinary experience, will highlight the folk-rock music of Chicago singer Laura Joy, along with fantastic southern style grub.

Raised Bar1 W. Wacker Drive, has announced the January installment of their popular new Supper Club Series. On Saturday, January 13 from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m., guests will enjoy live entertainment from Laura Joy, a Chicago based folk-rock singer-songwriter, while feasting on special menu items courtesy of Raised Chef Timothy Powles, curated to the music. Known for having one of the best cocktail programs in Chicago, creative cocktail pairings are also available for the menu items.

The January menu features Fried Chicken, Grits, and Redeye Gravy ($16), paired with the Sherry Temple, made with Old Tom’s Gin, Cherry Herring, Fino Sherry, Fresh Lemon Juice and Sliced Fresh Jalapeno ($15); Truffled Mac and Cheese ($16), paired with I Dream of Spring, made with Aquavit, Fresh Dill, Cucumber, Ginger Beer, and Lime Juice ($15); and Pork Tenderloin Chili, made with scarlet runner beans and roasted tomato ($15), paired with Where There’s Smoke, made with Hickory Smoked Angel’s Envy Bourbon, Demerara Syrup, and House Made Blood Orange Bitters ($16).

About Raised Bar

Following much anticipation, Raised Bar opened to critical acclaim in May 2016. Under the direction of Executive Chef Daniel Perez, the regular menu at Raised features American bar food with a twist, highlighting sharable plates – ideal for mixing and mingling with friends. Chef Perez focuses on all things local, sourcing his menu ingredients within 200 miles of Raised. The creative libations with seasonal, fresh ingredients encourage guests to sample and share.

Raised was designed by The Gettys Group, fusing an industrial aesthetic with eclectic style and raw finishes. A glass wall lends to a stunning view of the skyline and Chicago River, while the outdoor area features fresh flowers, fire pits, cabanas, couches and an outdoor bar with a decidedly urban feel.
