Move for the Kids 5K Walk/Run, Presented by C.H. Robinson, Benefiting Lurie Children’s Patients

What: Grab your friends and family for the Move for the Kids 5K Walk/Run, which supports the patients and families of Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. The signature, family-friendly event along the Chicago lakefront returns Saturday, June 10, 2017. The event starts and ends at Soldier Field.

Presented by C.H. Robinson and hosted by Lurie Children’s Foundation, “Move for the Kids” is a highly anticipated, city-favorite, attracting thousands of participants each year.

“Move for the Kids” is an exhilarating and entertaining way to show support for patients and families of Lurie Children’s. Following the race, runners/walkers can enjoy complimentary food, beverages, live music and entertainment at the post-race party on Stadium Green at Soldier Field. Spectators also are encouraged to come out and cheer on participating family, friends and patients.

Registration is $40 for adults ($50 for day-of registrations), $5 for children ages 4-12 and free for children ages 3 and under. All proceeds benefit the greatest identified need at Lurie Children’s, ensuring young patients receive the best care possible. Registration will be available up until the morning of the race.
