Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation Be My Valentine Family Event
Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation is hosting the sweetest event of the year with the 2017 Be My Valentine Family Event celebrating 10 years on Sunday, January 29 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. held at The Drake Hotel, 140 East Walton Place.
The fun-filled event features a delicious brunch buffet and many Valentine’s events perfect for the entire family. Special events include a performance by The Jesse White Tumblers and character appearances courtesy of Sparkles Entertainment. Other activities include a cookie decorating station with Sweet Mandy B’s, arts and crafts provided by Sew Crafty, PIXI Girl Parties hair and makeup for kids, games in the Abt Arcade and more family-friendly entertainment throughout the day. The Allergy Friendly treat table is provided by Smarties and Gimbal’s Fine Candies and prosecco for parents to enjoy is sponsored by Breakthru Beverage. Pop up shops with Frankie’s On the Park, Belle & June, Diptyque and Alexis Bittar will be available. Music is provided by DJ Versage and step and repeat photos by Sheri Whitko Photography will capture the event. Guests will also have a chance to win fabulous prizes from the silent auction.
This year’s “Be My Valentine” Family Event is co-chaired by Sarna Lee Goldenberg, Libby Langsdorf and Jennifer Meyers. All proceeds benefit the Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation and will go toward breast cancer research, fellowships and education programs at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and the Robert H.
