Alice Cooper Introduces Wayne’s World Screening at Millennium Park

Summer is coming to an end and the kids are all getting ready to go back to school. Don’t miss your chance to catch one more movie in the park Chicago. On Tuesday, September 5, Allice Cooper will be making an appearance at Millennium Park to introduce the Wayne’s World screening.

Chicago has welcomed many well-known faces and now the city is getting ready to rock and roll with Alice Cooper who made a cameo appearance in the popular 90s comedy, Wayne’s World, one of the most successful Saturday Night Live (SNL) spinoffs.

Wayne’s World was set in a fictionalized version of a Chicago suburb, Aurora. It will be the final movie in the park for the 201 summer at the Jay Pritzker Pavillion beginning at 6:30p. Before screening the film, Cooper will talk about his appearance in the film and his connection to the movie over the last 25 years.

Cooper is more well-known for his rockability and rock star look usually performing in a top hot and corpse paint than his acting. If you’re itching to see him perform live and hear his biggest hit, “School’s Out,” he’ll be at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheater on Wednesday, September 6 also at 6:30p with Deep Purple and the Edgar Winter Band.
