Necklace by Elda de la Rosa
While “Passions and Vanities” may sound like the next incarnation of the soap opera it was in fact, the title of the first Randolph Street Market of 2012. The February Market was themed “Passion and Vanities” to encourage shoppers to find something special for Valentines day for that ‘Special Someone’. For those of you who are unfamiliar with The Randolph Street Market, I can honestly say that you have been missing out on one of the great shopping destinations this city has to offer.
NowYouKnow and other local bloggers such as Eva Daiberl of Miss Renaissance.com and Alison Fraker of Brown Eyed Style were invited to come, peruse and declare our favorite Valentines Day gifts by awarding them with red ribbons. My personal favorites (some of which ended up coming home with me…) are listed below.
Fab Bag! See our Facebook page for the inside shot….
- Ribbon, pearl and gem necklace by local designer, Elda de la Rosa.
- Vintage leopard print bag detailed with leather and gold embroidery (Names of International Cities) complete with robin’s egg blue leather interior and original mirror and coin purse.
- Blue Silk with white flower patterned Vintage Valentino Dress.
- Hand-Finished wood chess board with enamel pieces complete with a vintage baccarat game piece carrier.
- “Paper Honey” specialty card shop. (Their greeting cards were so great I gave a ribbon to the entire booth)
- Sterling Silver bracelet and necklace set. Each piece was half movable rectangular pieces and half a solid geometric shape.
The necklace and bracelet are on red velvet next to a vintage sterling Judith Lieber belt
Send a sweet little note.
